Come Door-To-Door Canvass with NAN

NAN will resume door-to-door canvassing in the spring. Currently we are learning Deep Canvassing with each other, a method of canvassing that focuses on Email [email protected] if you are interested in canvassing! The signs are $15 (metal stake included), email us at [email protected] if you would like one.

Signs were ordered from Signs Of Justice, costs were $5.25/sign and the extra money raised from the signs will go towards paying Black organizers or supporting Black-led abolitionist organizations. Help make defunding the police and investing in community-led safety more visible by putting a sign up!

Talk to your networks

Send a message to your workplace or an organization you are part of’s email list, or to a group of friends and family, recruiting your community to take action on the fight to defund the Northampton Police by 50%, reinvest in true community safety starting with a Department of Community Care led by people impacted by policing, and defend Black Lives. 

Reach out to Mayor Narkewicz and the City Council on behalf of your organization/workplace and let them know you support the effort to defund the Northampton Police by 50% and reinvest in community needs, starting with a Department of Community Care led by people impacted by policing. 

Post on your organization’s social media account about your support of the effort to defund the Northampton Police by 50% and build real community safety in Northampton through a Department of Community Care led by those most impacted by policing.
